MEXICO: Not much love for the, as the article says, "inevitable" future president of Mexico, Pena Nieto (of PRI). What can I say, I am also disappointed that PRI will continue to govern.

Also, I must visit La Jornada from time to time, they have a nice PDF version of their paper.

Colombia: Very interesting article about narconovias.

Chile: Nicanor Parra won the Cervantes prize for his poetry. No, not recently, at the end of 2011, but I still only hear about it just now.

I gotta read El Pais more, especially the cultura section.
